Your Hosts Pat and Gertie Ormond will extend 'a cead mile failte' - a hundred thousand welcomes to you as they greet you on arrival. Pat and Gertie have many years experience in the catering and hospitality business. Gertie, well known for her culinary skills, is a former student of Darina Allen, Jane Grigson, Anthony Worrall Thompson, John Tovey and Madhur Jaffery.
Pat is the quintessential 'Mine Host' who's knowledge of the locality and it's history is essential when planning your activities while staying at Kilcannon House, be that a fishing trip or seeking one's roots. Your stay at Kilcannon House will be an experiencece you'll wish to repeat again and again.

Freshly squeezed orange juice, Vanilla Pannacotta with Banana Caramel Sauce, seasonal fresh & stewed fruits from our own garden. A selection of cereals, yoghurts, granola, roasted nuts, muesli, porridge (with whisky, brown sugar & cream).
Numerous vegetarian options available.
Poached Kippers with Maitre D'Hotel Butter, Omelette with fresh herbs, poached eggs with mushrooms & tomato, scrambled eggs with chives, pancake with creamed spinach. Pancakes with maple syrup. Traditional Irish Breakfast: Bacon, egg, sausage, black & white pudding, tomato, mushrooms. Homemade preserves. Brown bread, soda bread, toast, scones
On Request : Spelt bread or gluten / wheat free, pancakes or drop scones .
